Student Achievement Awards
Many Baylor undergraduates compete each year for national and international scholarships such as the Goldwater, Truman, Boren, Fulbright, Marshall, Rhodes, Rotary, and National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships. Many of these applications take three-to-six months to complete, and all of them require a significant investment of time and effort. Nevertheless, students who compete for these awards learn many skills and have valuable opportunities that are afforded them as part of the process of applying. Baylor has been tremendously successful at mentoring students toward winning a host of national and international scholarships, including all of those listed above and many more.
Students who are interested in competing for one of these awards should contact the Office of Engaged Learning. They are a tremendous resource for all Baylor students. Most importantly, do your homework on the award you want to win, and plan early!
